WIP - Asi Ella Danza - [Traditional Art]

This is my first drawing of a girl/lady/woman from a behind type pose, needless to say this took me hours! I used Christopher Hart's "Figure it out" book for some help, and also "How to draw manga" by Katy Coope for drawing her face although the reference for the more real looking face was from C.Hart's book. None of the positions I looked at looked like this almost at all, only minor similarities. The pose is from my head! - There was nothing for how her feet should look so I had to mentally look at how the body moves and figure it out, if I tried to physically try this post I'd be broken in pieces on the floor and you'd have to sweep me up. Haha!  The board I used to draw on I've had for years, a person gave me old art stuff from when she was in collage that she had still.

I still have to add details on her dress and fix up her hair until I like it better. But yeah anyways I shall shut up and get to the picture.

Title is:  Asi Ella Danza - So she dances. I took it from Josh Groban's song title and tried to make it Spanish......Emphasis on "tried". ...Anyways shutting up now! Enjoy!

{Mixed - Computer Art] Sundar Laṛakī

This started off as a pencil Sketch, but I colored it in MyPaint and GIMP.
She came out alright, I don't like her mouth, it looks too stiff to me! But I love her hair, I think it came out very pretty!

Enjoy!

Time Taken: 3-4 hours (Including Sketching time)

MyPaint Brush Usage Demonstrations - Video 7:

This is Video 7 of my currently ongoing series of videos based on the brushes in MyPaint, for better understanding of how they work; This is the final video for “set #2” and will have 8 and not 5 brushes. In case you haven't seen the first video I recommend you go here to see it and the first post.

The Brushes I will cover in this video are:
  • Knife
  • Mix Knife
  • Digital brush
  • Mix brush
  • Chalk
  • Spray
  • Spray 2

Two sections of this will be mini Speed-Paints (Time-Lapse-Video), the rest will just be real time demonstrations as I do not draw anything with them; Before beginning a drawing there will be a circle around the brush as seen in the brush menu. - All brushes in this video are from the “Set #2” in the brush menu.-

Note: The Drawings will not be particularly awesome, it's just to get the point across. - No Audio
